Bought this one at my local RiteAid, on sale for $6.99/bottle. It's a 2008 with the following flavors: blackberries, chocolate & vanilla.
[yellow tail] is everything a great wine should be. It's approachable, fresh, flavorsome and has a personality all of its own.

Hmmm...this one was quite tasty initially then the overwhelmingly "berry" flavor was too much for me, not loving it so much now. I think I need to finish the 2nd half of the bottle and report back.
Finished 'er off and same effect. First sips are very good then it's a bit much. Great for wine-tasting, not so great for continued drinking.

Oh, like the color change. Very vibrant and emotional! Mmmmm.... I've had better inexpensive wines but it's not horrendous. Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI was going to comment on the Cab first but I saw your picture and WOW! You're a VERY attractive man! (Cute cat, too, although blurry picture.) Mmmmm... okay so onto the wine: it's good to know that you're barreling through the entire bottle for the sake of your followers. Sorry the fruitiness soured the experience for you. I guess I'll stay away from this Cab. I prefer mine to be a bit stronger than the Merlots or Pinots - they can be a medium taste. I like my Cabs (and my men) STRONG!!!
